The Project

WehFiGo needed more than a pretty poster site. The business runs on nights, promoters, and impulse. The site had to feel premium on mobile, load fast enough for Instagram traffic, and push every interested visitor toward a real conversation or checkout without friction.

I owned the product surface end to end: architecture, theme chrome, auth and membership UX, event presentation, and the conversion paths that turn curiosity into tickets and WhatsApp leads.

The Client

WehFiGo is a Caribbean events brand built around nightlife, community, and repeat attendance. Their audience lives on phones. Trust is visual. Speed is revenue. If the site feels slow or unclear, people bounce back to the flyer in their DMs.

The Challenge

  • Mobile-first conversion: Most traffic arrives from Instagram and WhatsApp. Desktop polish means nothing if the first thumb scroll fails.
  • Membership and events together: One brand surface had to support discovery, event detail, and account flows without looking like bolted-on plugins.
  • WhatsApp as the sales desk: Forms alone underperform. Intent CTAs had to feel native, not like afterthought floating buttons.
  • Theme discipline: Licensed parent themes are chrome only. Child-theme overrides had to own contrast, nav, and conversion without fighting the parent.

The Solution

  • Custom child-theme chrome: Sitewide CSS and auth styling for light and dark readability, clean checkboxes with no highlight rings, and brand-first headers.
  • WhatsApp intent paths: Quote and talk flows prefill context so the first message already contains what the team needs.
  • Events and membership UX: Clear hierarchy from home to event to action, tuned for thumb reach and skim reading.
  • Performance hygiene: Asset discipline for hero media and LCP so flyer traffic does not land on a blank delay.

Nightlife sells on vibe. The site has to carry that vibe and still close the sale.

The Results

  • A live production platform at wehfigo.com that matches the brand energy and still behaves like a product.
  • Conversion paths that prefer conversation and tickets over dead-end browsing.
  • A maintainable child-theme layer that keeps Zachary trademarks and UX standards enforceable across updates.

The Conclusion

WehFiGo is proof I can ship a client platform under real traffic pressure, with membership and messaging in the mix, without letting the theme library own the experience. If you need an events or community site that sells, this is the standard.
