The Project

PNTCOG needed a public presence that felt respectful, modern, and easy to navigate for visitors looking for services, ministries, and contact paths. The brief was not WordPress by default. It was a maintainable site with honest content boundaries and a CMS the team could use.

The Client

A Pentecostal ministry serving its congregation and newcomers online. Visitors arrive with practical questions. The site has to answer them without clutter, hype, or invented details.

The Challenge

  • Trust first: Ministry sites fail when they look like marketing templates or when they invent schedules and contacts.
  • Editable without fragility: Content owners need a CMS, but the live surface still needs speed and simple hosting.
  • Information architecture: Ministries, media, and contact had to nest cleanly for phones and first-time visitors.

The Solution

  • Custom CMS plus static delivery: Bluehost-hosted static front with an editing path that does not require WordPress core.
  • Content honesty rules: No invented church facts. Only confirmed information ships.
  • Calm visual system: Clear hierarchy, readable contrast, and paths that make talk to us the easy action.

The Results

  • A live ministry site at portmorentcog.org with a structure visitors can skim in seconds.
  • An update model that keeps the public surface fast while content stays manageable.
  • A portfolio piece that shows restraint and seriousness, not template cosplay.

The Conclusion

PNTCOG shows I can deliver for organizations where trust is the product. Clean architecture, honest content, and a CMS path that respects how non-technical teams actually update a site.
