How a project starts.
From the intro call to a live site.
A project starts with what the site has to do, not with a package on a shelf.
1. Intro call
We talk through the business, the deadline, and the budget. If a simpler site fits, I say so. If the budget cannot support the outcome, I say so then.
2. Proposal
You get a written scope and a quote. There is no obligation to continue.
3. Deposit and direction
The deposit is usually half. Then wireframes, 3 to 5 design directions, and two revision passes.
4. Build and launch
Custom development, then the site goes live. After that, care is scoped to the real site. Previous clients come first.
